EFFOX is a privately held, financially sound company.  The company was started in 1980.  Many of our key personnel have been with the company since its inception. Additional personnel have been added over the years who have damper and expansion joint experience.  EFFOX is one of the very few major damper or expansion joint manufacturers that has maintained this degree of continuity in its organization.

Our technical staff includes graduate and professional engineers highly experienced in the damper and expansion joint industries.  Our staff has considerable field experience including countless international trips to assist and advise our customers.  In addition, our design department pioneered computer-aided drafting in the damper and expansion joint field.  Our shop personnel are well trained, experienced, and qualified in the fabrication and welding of stainless and nickel alloys in addition to carbon steel.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A.  We have 100,000 sq. ft. (11,000 sq. meters) of manufacturing and 15,000 sq. ft.
