RADIAL VANE DAMPERS are used as flow control devices for fan inlets.  They are sometimes referred to as Variable Inlet Vanes (VIV) or Internal Vane Controls (IVC).

The EFFOX cantilevered blade design with dual outboard bearings eliminates the need for bearings and related supports within the gas stream.  Internal bearing problems on radial vane dampers have plagued the fan industry for decades.  This design eliminates internal bearing in the flue gas laden gas stream.

Electric, pneumatic, or manual actuation is available.
